if i start from scratch and zoom in - then i get the behaviour you claim.  however, the problem seems to be if i start by entering a source name or coordinate in the box at the top-left and then try to pan away from that position - it doesn't then seem to update (even if i then clear the content of the search box).

thank you.  the search around the cross-hair works - but the updating of the search as you move the FoV doesn't seem to work for me on either Safari or Firefox (on a mac running 10.12).  on both the search window looks as though it is updating the search but returns no data for regions where i know there is imaging data.
